The rooms are $140 per night (Fri-Sun). When making reservations, be sure to tell them you are with the Sun Country Mustang Club. To guarantee this rate, you must book by August 13, 2024. A full breakfast, including an omelet station, is included. Check-in is available at 3pm.
ACTIVITIES THIS YEAR!!
Friday afternoon, Sept. 13th: Gather at 4:45pm and at 5:00pm we’ll depart the host hotel where we will have our evening cruise through the country-side, with a photo-op stop at the famous Teapot Dome Historical Site. Flip-flopping events this year (the Banquet is Friday night with our casual Burger Night on Saturday), our final destination is the Squeeze Inn (611 1st Ave, Zillah, WA 98953) for our Banquet Dinner. Saturday morning, Sept 14th: The Round-up will be held 10am – 3pm in the parking lot at Yakima Battery & Auto Electric (3402 Fruitvale Blvd, Yakima, WA 98902). See registration form for ordering lunch, courtesy of the American Legion next door. At 2:00pm, we will prepare for our 30th Anniversary Photo! Please don’t leave early. As you know, setting up for this picture can take some time, so please be patient! For our evening dinner, we’ll join the Ponies at Major’s Drive-In (1750 W Lincoln Ave, Yakima, WA 98902) from 5:00 – 7:00pm, for a No-Host meal. Raffles & Door Prizes available. Following this, we’ll join the locals and “Cruise the Ave” — Yakima Avenue — just like the old days. Return to the Hotel at your convenience.
Sunday morning, Sept. 10th: We kick off with our annual Ranchero International Board meeting (all welcome!) at 8:00am in the Conference Room at the host hotel. Please grab your breakfast ahead of time and bring it to the conference room. We promise to be done by 9:30 so we can depart (and check-out of the hotel as needed) to arrive at the Ponies show prior to their 11:00am gate closure — only a 10 minute drive (see map — Sarg Hubbard Park, 111 S 18th St. Yakima, WA 98901). Food trucks available for lunch. Note Guidelines on registration as to Stock or Modified.
